Drugs Awareness
On Monday Garda Dave Prendergast came into the three sixth classes and taught us about Drug and alcohol awareness.
He explained to us that people take drugs to experiment , peer pressure and because of their curiosity.
There are three categories of drugs these include;
Stimulants (Uppers)
Depressants ( Downers)
Hallucinogens (Makes you see things that aren't there)
Ultimately the effects of these drugs can be disastrous and even lead to death!
So please use your brain and never take drugs
